came here on a weekend afternoon and got seated immediately. they have indoor and outdoor seating but we chose outdoor, which is definitely noisier because it’s a busy street. we ordered hawaiian plates and the food was delicious and the service was quick as well. meat was extremely tender and the katsu sauce was good (not too vinegar-y), mac salad was fresh and rice was fluffy. reasonable prices and the servers were kind and courteous. would definitely come back to this hole-in-the-wall spot!

Normally pretty good food. I orders the shrimp noodle bowl. The shrimp was horribly overcooked & tasted like seasoned leather.

I ordered the short ribs and the flavors were very reminiscent of the short ribs my friend’s mother made when we were kids. Very tasty for a hole in the wall takeout type of restaurant. Feels like home in a way.

The eggplant curry with brown rice was delicious; a tad oily, but so good. The workers were also very kind and accommodating. Great if you want a low key place to pick up some good food.

The fried rice here was amazingly delicious. There was only a 5-10 minute wait before I got my food and the cashier was a very friendly person. The overall ambiance of the place was excellent too for a takeout place. I give them 5 stars ⭐. I highly recommend them

TIP: You can also dine in on the Valencia side of the business, a very nice quaint and clean restaurant with the same menu. 506 Valencia St. Imperial rolls are amazing! The vegan / veggie pho is also solid and hits the spot. There’s a lot of vegan options as well. The staff is nice and always makes it per the estimated time.

Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 2/5 Overall: My go to for Garlic Noodles Would I come back: YES! ALWAYS DO! The extended review... Food: 5/5 Garlic Noodles with Beef - 5/5 - Probably some of the most flavorful noodles I've tasted. Add on the shrimp or beef and you are set. Portions are pretty good here so you definitely get your money's worth. Service: 4/5 - Friendly staff! Ambiance: 2/5 - Hole in the wall alert!
